*Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a scientifically sound, medically safe method to achieve or postpone pregnancy. It has zero of the harmful side effects that are inherent to almost all of the artificial contraceptives used today (such as various cancers, blood clots, stroke, heart disease, and osteoporosis). Research shows that NFP is 99% effective in postponing pregnancy and almost 70% of couples trying to achieve pregnancy will do so during the first cycle.
Learn the Creighton Model FertilityCare System
Through personalized instruction, the Creighton Model FertilityCare System teaches women/couples how to observe biomarkers to know their days of fertility and infertility and if any health concerns may be present. It is a powerful tool that helps physicians diagnose and treat various physiological and hormonal conditions through NaPro Technology, an innovative approach to medicine and surgery which cooperates with the reproductive system.
After attending an introductory session, women/couples attend a series of private follow-up sessions scheduled at regular intervals for the woman/couple to develop confidence.
The Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaPro Technology are helpful in a variety of circumstances:
- Achieving or avoiding pregnancy (natural family planning)
- Infertility
- Irregular cycles
- Breastfeeding
- Recurrent miscarriage
- Endometriosis
- Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
- Postpartum depression
- Premenopause
- Hormonal imbalances
- Unusual bleeding
- Anovulation
- Pelvic pain
Meet our Massage Therapist!
My name is Kim B. and I became a licensed massage therapist in 2003. Therapeutic Body Concepts, here in San Antonio, is the school where I received my training. Over the last 14 years, I have continued to learn and grow in experience and knowledge. For the last 5 1/2 years, I have been working at Elements Massage in the Alon Center.
It is my goal with each client to provide a massage tailored to their specific needs. With experience in deep tissue, Swedish, trigger point, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, prenatal and more, I combine different techniques to create a massage unique for each person. Providing each client with individualized suggestions and knowledge to keep them feeling happier and healthier every day is another way I strive to extend the benefits of massage.
I became a massage therapist to help people feel better and improve the quality of their lives. Now I am looking forward to continuing that goal here at the Dignity Women’s Center.
